The Town of Outapi which is the Capital and Administrative Center of the [Omusati Region] hosted Olufuko Festival for the whole region. Omusati Region is the 3rd largest region in [Namibia] (242 900) [1]2011 Census Report. The festival sees three towns from Omusati taking part namely, Okahao, Oshikuku and Ruacana. The Omusati Region Council 1 also played an active role. Amongst most the festivals that took place in Namibia, Olufuko was seen as on of the most unique festival because it had put an emphasis on the following components

  • Tradition *Culture *Agriculture *Arts

The Festival will consists of 4 parts or sections namely:

  • Agriculture
  • Traditional Culture
  • Arts and
  • Business and Trade Fair Expo Click[2]

Critics

As much as the event was seen as one of the unique event in Namibia because Peolple havent just show case thier traditional dances, foods there were still critics against the festival.critics1 [3] critics2, images.
