editLinking to articles in other language Wikipedias in the way that you did presents two problem
- It does not visually alert the user that there is no English language article, as it remains a blue link rather than a red link.
- It violates the principle of least astonishment.
There is a better way to do what you were attempting, which is to use the {{Interlanguage link}} or the shortcut version most commonly used, {{Ill}}. Please click click here to see the correction that I made to your code. The {{Interlanguage link}} template maintains a red link to alert the user that the article needs creating in this Wikipedia while adding a link to the article(s) in the source language Wikipedia(s).
