• Superphylum: Parazoa ← The original German article uses the label "Abteilung", presumably in error (its meaning in taxonomy is usually "divisio", the botanical counterpart of zoological "phylum").

• ... the spread-out area fluctuates ... ← The German author uses the term "cross-sectional area", but the context suggests "spread-out area" or "area of substrate coverage".

• UPI: "Scientists study genome of the Trichoplax" ← This link did not actually appear in the German version of the article - I was able to track it down via the corresponding bullet hidden in the source text, which had been commented out by someone complaining that a deep link was needed here.

• Original German version calls out the following 2 categories, both of whose pages have interlanguage links to the English WP's Category:Animals
  • Kategorie:Vielzellige_Tiere ( = Multicellular animals)
  • Kategorie:Metazo
