December 2008

edit

Please don't undo edits removing links. Only official sites are listed on the External Links section on Survivor Philippines as per WP:EL. Please read it before reinstating the link that was removed. And please explain why you want to reinstate that link. Just a heads up. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 12:05, 31 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Viva la Vida

Hi. Please add edit summaries to the edits you make. That way other editors will be able to understand what you edited and why. Happy editing. --Legolas!! (talktome) 12:24, 24 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Deletion request

edit

I've deleted the pages you requested. In future, there are two things you can do to help the process go more smoothly: (1) when nominating a redirect page for deletion, please put the template above, not below, the #REDIRECT directive; and (2) when nominating your own user page/subpage for deletion, please use {{db-userreq}}, as this requires less investigation and review by the deleting admin. Thanks. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 14:22, 17 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Chart updates

edit

Please, when updating chart info, also update the source. Re: [1] and [2], etc. Even if it is a temporary link to the current chart, that is better than nothing at all. Thank you! - eo (talk) 12:23, 27 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Party in the USA article chart performance

Why did you delete the added Philippines MYX Hit Chart from the list despite the reference provided? Please do not delete without consultation, as the information added was clearly following the rules. --Truflip99 (talk) 18:30, 8 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Regarding your note on my talk page: I little bit better. Nothing else to say at this moment because I have other things on my mind right now. Sorry if this is not the answer you expected. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 16:05, 13 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

NZ charts

edit

Please note, I have taken List of number-one singles in 2009 (New Zealand) to FLC, its entry is here. As per MOS:COLOUR, do not rely on colour alone to convey information. Also, the exclusion of songs continuing their peaks from the previous year follows the style at List of Hot 100 number-one singles of 2006 (U.S.). Adabow(complain) 01:43, 15 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Can you please reference the charts? Your edit to update the NZ singles chart was great, but please reference it using the formats in previous weeks. Ta, Adabow (talk · contribs) 09:43, 21 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Survivor Philippines

edit

Can you write some of the summaries on the Celebrity Couples Showdown article? My current job puts me on the graveyard shift this week and I would therefore miss both it and PBB. I can't possibly cover both. Someone is somewhat doing the big rounds on the PBB articles, but only bits and pieces on Survivor. I know you're out right now, but I'm just asking a favor. Thanks. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 11:44, 17 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Well, thanks for trusting me on this. However, I can't watch Survivor Philippines as often anymore due to my studies. Assuming that you are free in the daytime, I can recommend you a site where you can watch Survivor Philippines.

Thanks for the offer, but I already followed that link. However, because of my need to sleep, I don't have the time. Maybe on Sunday (unless I'm put on call, I have to on Saturday nights as well). - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 09:44, 18 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Reunion Special dates to be added to Original Run sections

edit

Hey Ja, I have a suggestion in including the dates of the Reunion specials from the past seasons of Survivor Philippines into their Original Run sections, not only the date of the Live Finale. Because if you could see, reunion specials is still part of a season. It doesn't mean that after the winner was announced, the whole season is completely done, there is still the reunion special episode which we know aired in Sundays, two days after the finale which is in Fridays. Please reply to me in my talkpage. Thanks!! --Janbryan (talk) 03:32, 26 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Tribal Shuffle?

edit

Hi! Ja 1207, Why do you keep deleting the Tribal Shuffle twists in Survivor Philippines: Palau and Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown? The Tribal Shuffle is part of the twists that clearly changed how the game is played and considered as a major twist. Please state the reason and reply to me in my talk page as soon as possible. Please and thank you!!! Janbryan (talk) 20:25, 17 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Because it is most common to many Survivor seasons of the world that there's a tribal shuffle. In US Survivor articles, do they EXPLICITLY state the tribal shuffles? I think not. Better leave the tribal shuffle twist that you're saying as it is.--Ja 1207 (talk) 22:03, 17 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
P.S., Survivor Philippines is already a latecomer when it comes to Survivor franchising, so, I'd say you must only include those twists that are really UNIQUE, may it be in the FRANCHISE, or in each SEASON.--Ja 1207 (talk) 22:03, 17 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
I got where is your opinion going but I still disagree at removing from the "Twists and Changes" list. First of all, the title don't suggests "Unique Twists and Changes" so any twists and changes could be put on that list even borrowed from the foreign versions. Second, "Tribal Shuffle" is not a ordinary/mandatory twist to happen in Survivor and not common to every Survivor season in the world as seen it rarely in the US, although it been used for three consecutive seasons here in Phils. Lastly, US Survivor articles don't really state the tribal shuffles in its articles because many of those articles don't go deep about twists/changes that happened on a certain season so that's why I created the "Twists and Changes" column in every Philippine article to state every twist/change seen in the TV and decongest the introduction article as we seen to other Survivor articles worldwide which are so congested. Please reply and thank you!!! Janbryan (talk) 00:22, 19 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
So, you mean that you're deviating from the norm of basing the Survivor articles from other franchises from the very-comprehensive US Survivor articles? Well, if you're so persistent about it, then do as you want.--Ja 1207 (talk) 01:12, 19 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed blackout in protest of RA 10175

edit

Dear Ja 1207,

Greetings!

As a Filipino Wikipedian, I hope you are aware of the passage of Republic Act No. 10175, also known as the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, which was signed into law by President Benigno Aquino III on September 12, 2012. Currently, there is a discussion on the Tambayan, the noticeboard for Philippines-related topics, about a proposed blackout of the English Wikipedia in the Philippines in order to protest the passage of RA 10175, similar to the blackout against SOPA and PIPA held earlier this year. I feel that your input on the subject will definitely help in the discussion.

Please feel free to participate in the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines#The Cybercrime Prevention Act, and I hope your input will help the Filipino Wikipedia community determine which is the best course of action against this law. Similarly, we hope to get as much input from as many Wikipedians as possible.

Thank you and maraming salamat po!

Kind regards,

Sky Harbor (talk) 04:28, 6 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Tagalog help needed

edit

Hello Ja 1207, I'm contacting you because we need some Tagalog translators to help with the deployment of the new VisualEditor on tl.wikipedia. There are help pages, user guides, and description pages that need translating, as well as the interface itself. The translating work is going on over on MediaWiki: Translation Central. I also need help with a personal message for the Tagalog Wikipedians. If you are able to help in any way, either reply here, or head over to TranslationCentral. Thanks for your time, PEarley (WMF) (talk) 17:32, 2 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
