Speedy deletion nomination of Little white liar
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Little white liar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. NtheP (talk) 18:42, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
Hi JacksonStone857, and thank you for leaving feedback. Firstly, can I ask that you familiarise yourself with the civility policy - calling other editors "stupid" and "gits" is not the best way to conduct discussion here.
Your article seems to have been deleted because it failed the notability guidelines. Wikipedia isn't indiscriminate in its content; article subjects must have received significant coverage in reliable sources to be considered for inclusion. Whilst I appreciate that the deletion may have been somewhat hasty, please bear in mind that Wikipedia has literally hundreds of spammy, non-notable page created (and deleted) every day - if an article has no sources and doesn't seem to make any case for notability, it will be deleted fairly promptly.
If you'd like to recreate the article, I would suggest either submitting it via Articles for Creation or constructing in your sandbox first; this way you can work on it outside the mainspace. You can request that User:Versageek restores the deleted content to your sandbox or userspace for you; try not to call her a git again, though.

- Thanks for the nice message. I can't view the deleted article, but Versageek's response suggests it's a webseries - it's not the StarKid Productions one (which I think is actually called Little White Lies), is it? If so, you could consider including the content on that page instead. (If it's something else entirely, then just ignore this message!) Yunshui 雲水 07:13, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
