Substitute teacher

Hi JacquelynAnn. I reverted your change to the article on substitute teachers. While the information you added was true, narrow information on qualifications for a particular area aren't of interest to a general reader (who may not live in the United States at all). If you can find broader information on general qualifications, it might be helpful to summarize those qualifications broadly. Also, Wikipedia articles are are not written as a guidebook--as a shortcut, if you find yourself using the second person in a Wikipedia article, you may be writing instructions rather than encyclopedic content. The article Teacher salary schedule has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Sprawling list of statistics with little or no notability (for the actual schedules)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
