Copyright on UN images
editHello, you uploaded Image:EthiopiaRegions.gif with the {{PD-ineligible}} tag. However, the UN does place a copyright on its material, although the notice is not posted at the same website where you found this image. I'm not sure that UN images (or text) are public domain, and I can't find a previous discussion on Wikipedia that would set a precedent one way or the other. I'd been wondering about this because there are more maps where that came from, and it would be nice to use them here. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 9 July 2005 18:28 (UTC)

The file File:Bristleconepine n me.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
useless personal photo
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. funplussmart (talk) 17:54, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
