Please don't add marketing taglines to Vermejo Park Ranch. Thanks. Skyerise (talk) 19:32, 13 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please help me correct the name of this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vermejo_Park_Ranch

I am the manager for this property. The correct name should be just Vermejo. No Park Ranch. Legally the land has never been called Vermejo Park Ranch although it has had several owners over the years none of them have ever legally named it Vermejo Park Ranch. The park Ranch is causing both our guests and our marketing problems with everything from social media to GPS directions to the property. I have many historical documents that can prove that the correct name is just Vermejo without the park ranch and I'd be happy to share them with anyone. my email address is [email protected] thank you for your help.

No. The property has historically been called Vermejo Park Ranch as evidenced by this page at TedTurner.com. Your marketing problems are not Wikipedia's emergency. I suggest you start calling the place by its historic name on social media and Google maps. In any case, Wikipedia titles articles by the most used name in sources, not by legal name. As for sources, we do not accept primary sources (such as legal documents) which most likely your documents are, we rely on reliable secondary sources, that is, material that has been published in books and articles.
