WP:Record charts

edit

I'm sorry to have reverted your edit to She Wolf (song). Our guideline on record charts does not permit us to include charts which are from a single vendor. The chart you added appears to be the airplay chart of a single radio station, so cannot be included. This is not a reflection on the importance of Lebanon: if you can find a chart that reports airplay from multiple networks inside of Lebanon, or a chart that show sales from multiple stores inside of Lebanon, that would be fine.—Kww(talk) 16:04, 13 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

To leave me a new message, just edit User talk:Kww like it's an article, and put your message at the bottom. To reply to a message I've left, just edit User talk:Jadshakira and put your answer in.

I've looked for a good Lebanon chart before, and have never found one. There are a lot of countries that haven't got charts we can include, so Lebanon isn't alone. My country (the Netherlands Antilles) hasn't got one either.—Kww(talk) 17:31, 13 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Oh Thank you a lot. It was kind of you. I hope I'm writing now where I should and I inserted my signature with timestamp; anyway, thank you again. --Jadshakira (talk) 18:38, 13 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

WP:BADCHARTS

edit

Please don't include charts listed on WP:BADCHARTS, such as the United World Chart, in any Wikipedia articles.—Kww(talk) 12:19, 28 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

The Italian Singles Chart on acharts.us is also on WP:BADCHARTS. The figure you changed in She Wolf (song) was sourced to the official chart, and your change made it so that the figure provided did not match the figure from the source. Please be more careful.—Kww(talk) 20:56, 6 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to She Wolf (song). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. You must stop adding charts listed on WP:BADCHARTS, such as the Columbian Top 100 from americatop100.com—Kww(talk) 17:34, 9 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Bolding chart positions

edit

Per WP:Record charts, "Within the table, no peak positions should be boldfaced...".—Kww(talk) 19:30, 11 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ok I'm sorry. I'm learning bit by bit the rules. but I have to ask if those rules are applied to the non-english pages?

Do you mean pages on the other language Wikipedias? It depends. Every language Wikipedia has its own rules. I only know the guidelines for English Wikipedia.—Kww(talk) 22:28, 11 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

She Wolf singles

edit

By the time I looked, the dates had been deleted. I think someone else noticed that they weren't sourced.—Kww(talk) 23:51, 17 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
