Hi Hans, I have reverted your edits. They are unreferenced and Wikipedia biographies aren't places to add obscure ancestry details, especially when your username indicates that you may well be one of the descendants of this family and therefore have a conflict of interest. Hi Hans, thanks for your response. I've corrected the data at the Hermann Jaeger article ... while the ref you provided doesn't absolutely cover that fact, it does prove that the previous version was incorrect. Per WikiBlame, the relationship between Pestalozzi and Jaeger was added to the German Wikipedia in April 2015 by a now indefinitely blocked user; I can't exactly tell what went on there, but it was probably very serious. Anyway, re your image upload, it was deleted for having no license tag. I'm blind and can't help you with images, but maybe try the Media copyright questions page. Yes, I was thinking of just omitting the info about Pestalozzi from Jaeger's article, but thought it best to leave it in to clear up any misconceptions. Understandable re government data. Re: adding images from the German article to the English one: probably possible, but again, I'm probably not the best person to ask ... maybe ask at the teahouse.
