The article Jacob Bedingfield has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please use your user page if you want to write about yourself. NawlinWiki 15:49, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Donner60. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Ballers with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 04:44, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

editHello, I'm BilCat. I noticed that you made a change to an article, SS America (1939), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - BilCat (talk) 00:32, 1 January 2016 (UTC)

editPlease do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. John from Idegon (talk) 23:43, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
Please do not attack other editors, as you did at User talk:John from Idegon. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. – Archer1234 (talk) 00:09, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Andover High School (Michigan). This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. John from Idegon (talk) 00:22, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
Hi Jakebed: thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Your recent comments on my talk page were not added to the bottom of the page. New discussion messages and topics should always be added to the bottom of a talk page. Your message has been moved to the bottom. In the future you can use the "New section" link in the top right of a talk page to start a new topic and it will automatically add it to the bottom. However, once you've started a new topic, you should reply within that same section as long as your reply pertains to that topic. Also, it is customary to reply to a talk page message on that talk page and not other talk pages. So, for example, I posted on your talk page. Your reply to that message (same topic) should have been on your talk page, not on mine. That keeps the conversation together. Finally, for each reply you should add a colon :
to the beginning of each paragraph of your reply to indent the text. This makes it easier to follow the discussion. Subsequent replies within the same topic should add additional colons (e.g., ::
, :::
, and so on). Always use one more colon :
than the previous reply. For more details on learning the ins and outs of talk pages, I encourage you to read the talk page guidelines.
I will also post another message on your talk page that provides useful information and links on Wikipedia policies and guidelines that I encourage you to read. There is a lot to learn (I'm still relatively new, even with over 4,000 edits and so am always learning more). If you have any questions on other topics feel free to post a message on my talk page. Thank you. – Archer1234 (talk) 01:33, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia
editWelcome to Wikipedia, Jakebed! Thank you for your contributions. This is an encyclopedia, so remember that it's a necessity to include references listing reliable websites, newspapers, articles, books and other sources you have used to write or expand articles. Please understand that these sources should verify the information in a fair and accurate manner. However, you must not copy and paste text you find anywhere, except for short quotations, marked as such with quote marks and carefully cited to the source the quote was taken from. New articles and statements added to existing articles may be deleted by others if unreferenced or referenced poorly or if they are copyright violations. See referencing for beginners for more details.
I am Archer1234 and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type {{help me}}

ArbCom 2019 election voter message
editDisambiguation link notification for March 17
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of best-selling singles in the United States, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Halo (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 16:58, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

editHello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:26, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
