When you are creating a link to an article in Wikipedia, you do not have to enter the entire URL of the link. Instead, just put the name of the Wikipedia article in double brackets, like this: [[Larry Norman]]. If the title of the article has a word in parentheses that you want to exclude, use what is called the “pipe trick”: Put the full name of the article first, then add a “pipe” (vertical bar), then put the words that you want to be displayed in your text. Example [[Love Song (band)|Love Song]], which will display as Love Song. Hope this helps. If you have any questions, leave me a message on my talk page. ●DanMS 00:33, 7 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

P.S. You will note that I have already converted the Wikipedia links in your Paul Clark article. ●DanMS 00:39, 7 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Regarding edits made to Luke Hurley

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Jakemp50cz! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule \bexample\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
