{{helpme}} Hello,Aboutmovies (talk · contribs) thanks for your offer to assist. I originally posted the start of the page (Pallavi/Entertainer) with the under construction note on it. There is no way construction can be completed in seven days. It could take seven months to finish the filmography, the TV history and the references for this page! I am in direct contact with the manager and staff of the entertainer and they are working on getting translations of numerous publications some of which are 10 to 20 years old. They do not object to helping out with this project but they all have real jobs in the industry and are providing excellent first hand information (not otherwise obtainable) by direct interview with the star herself.

Now someone has posted a note that says the page reads like an advertisement!! What is the use of that kind of comment? It promotes nothing. It advertises nothing and it states the simplest statistics of a prolific media performer. The first paragraph was modelled on the lead paragraph for the actress Madonna. It promotes nothing, induces nothing, sells nothing. It states facts except where it quotes other magazine articles about her. in reading the style manual nothing about this page even comes close to promoting a product for sale. The references so far are to Imdb movies or to the web sites of other stars she has appeared with. Also, there appears to be no standard format for posting a filmography or a Tv history? Is there not a template available? When the Indian researchers began to explore the various film star sites we found vast differences between them. I am afraid to list anything the woman has accomplished such as winning awards or the names of movies or tv shows because some zealout may think it is advertising ( a 20 year old movie, perhaps?)

We would very much like to participate in this site and add a number of the dozen or so significant stars in India who have no listings on the site. With long careers, multiple languages other than english, and no certain grounds for format, it isn't easy to start and complete a page in seven days and it doesn't help to have ridiculous potshots that have zero journalistic integrity. As a newspaper writer for over twenty years for major daily papers for over 20 years, i do know something about integrity and style manuals. If the movie actor category is to thrive over time and benefit from those closest to the sources, a simple form template would be useful. (Jam3co).

If you feel like it's going to take a long time to complete an article, I recommend creating a user subpage so you can work on the article there. The advertisement notice was added by HaeB who used Wikipedia:PEACOCK as the edit summary. Try reading that page first, and then contact HaeB if you still do not understand. Since they added the template, they should be able to explain why. I find this to be a nice filmography section. You might want to use that template if it fits in the article you're working on. I hope this has helped!
