editHello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Polyergus may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s and 1 "<>"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Polyergus
editThank you for updating the Polyergus article, much appreciated. As you may have noticed, Wikipedia's footnote system is not very intuitive; you can read more about it at Help:Footnotes and Help:Referencing for beginners. But don't worry too much about it, you can add the references in plain text and I'll come back tomorrow and convert them to proper footnotes. Happy editing and welcome to Wikipedia, jonkerz ♠talk 23:46, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
- Update: the broken ref was fixed in this edit. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me here or on my talk page and I'll get back to you ASAP (probably tomorrow). jonkerz ♠talk 23:59, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
Adding images
editThe Wikipedia information on adding images to articles can be found here. I have added an image to the infobox for the article Polyergus so that you can see how it is done. If you click the "view history" button of the article and then click "prev" on the left side by my edit, you can see what I did. When you understand what goes where, you can change this image and its caption to another one.
If you have images of your own that you would like to add to an article, it is best to upload them first to Wikimedia Commons. Uploading is not a particularly easy process and requires the image to be appropriately licensed, something you can do yourself if it is your own image but not if someone else holds the copyright. I hope this helps. Feel free to ask if you need any more help. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 11:26, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
