Feedback on Four mountains article
editHi @Jameswateska: I noticed you moved your work on the Four Sacred Mountains to mainspace. You have a solid foundation for your article, and I have some feedback to help improve it.
Tone: I made some minor changes to your lead, but I think you can still rewrite some of the text so it can have a more neutral, encyclopeadic tone. Remember, the goal is to provide a neutral, fact based summary of the topic at hand, not to persuade the readers. I recommend reading over pgs. 7-9 of Editing Wikipedia before you rewrite to check out some examples of what is appropriate, neutral prose for Wikipedia. Pay attention to instances where you use "dire" "defiled."Stick to the facts.
Inline citations: You have a group of inline citations just hanging out at the bottom. What purpose do they serve? As you edit your content, keep in mind every statement should be followed by a supporting citation; if a group of sentences are all supported by the same source, you can place a single reference after all of them, but you need to have at least one reference per paragraph, and you shouldn't have any statements after the final reference in a paragraph. If those citations serve to support a claim, move them to the appropriate place in the text, don't leave them at the bottom.
Punctuation: Citations go after punctuation, not before, and there isn't supposed to be a space between them. Please go in and make those edits.
Sources: A couple of your links don't go to the correct webpage. I recommend going back and updating those, so if readers want to know more, the links will take them to the correct sources. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.Brianda (Wiki Ed) (talk) 23:10, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
