Why did you remove the election data? Why did you reverse the chronological order?! I see that you're doing other districts. Thanks for adding more information, but please don't remove otherwise good data and certainly don't make the election data in reverse order.—GoldRingChip 23:49, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
- In fact, can you please put them in correct order? You might want to simplify the tables with the code I just used at Maine's 2nd congressional district:
==Recent election results from presidential races== {| class=wikitable ! Year ! Results |- | 1992 | align="right" |Clinton 38 - 33% |- | 1996 | align="right" |Clinton 51 - 30% |}
Speedy deletion nomination of Maryland state senate delegations
editA tag has been placed on Maryland state senate delegations requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Tinton5 (talk) 22:00, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Maryland state senate delegations
editA tag has been placed on Maryland state senate delegations requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader.
Your contributed article, New jersey state senate delegations
editHello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, New jersey state senate delegations. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - United States congressional delegations from New Jersey. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at United States congressional delegations from New Jersey - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. MsFionnuala (talk) 13:16, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
Never mind. I misread the article title and removed the speedy tag. MsFionnuala (talk) 13:48, 9 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi, friend
editSorry that you're running into problems at Articles for Deletion. I think you're doing good work, it's just that you seem to be having a bit of trouble with the squirrelly WP layout software for one thing and with limiting the scope of a piece and titling it correctly for the second... Newcomers-type issues, in other words... May I help? Drop me a line if you have questions about the technical aspects, about the procedure at AfD, or anything that is troubling you. Best regards, — Tim Davenport, Corvallis, OR //// MutantPop@aol.com //// Carrite (talk) 16:21, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- If you want to take a do-over on the Maryland piece, you might want to lift-and-adapt the layout of List of current members of the Maryland Senate. One could probably simplify things a bit from that presentation by eliminating an information field or two, but you see how that runs vertically, so that a user can scroll down the list? One of these for each legislative session, named correctly, would be useful and a great addition. Carrite (talk) 16:36, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- Also note the way the lists have been handled from the 2006 special session onwards: 422nd Maryland General Assembly. Be sure not to duplicate this work or it will create what we Wikipedians call a "content fork." If you first come up with a superior listing style for earlier General Assemblies, the later ones can be changed to your version by consensus. I'd encourage you to include both House and Senate on a single page and to concentrate on 1-assembly session-per-page in the same manner that has been done for the 422nd and subsequent assemblies... Hello, Jamesyons, and thank you for your contributions!
Some text in an article that you worked on List of United States Representatives in the 113th Congress by seniority, appears to be directly copied from another Wikipedia article, List of United States Representatives in the 112th Congress by seniority. Please take a minute to double-check that you've properly attributed the source text in your edit summary.
It's entirely possible that this bot made a mistake, so please feel free to remove this notice and the tag it placed on List of United States Representatives in the 113th Congress by seniority at any time. MadmanBot (talk) 23:15, 10 November 2012 (UTC)
- The guidelines says that simple lists do not need to be attributed.
- Simple, non-creative lists of information (such as a list of actors in a television program by order of appearance or alphabetical order);
Although it is usually better to prepare a document in your own sandbox and then copy it into the article. In this case the bot was wrong. --Bejnar (talk) 06:18, 11 November 2012 (UTC)
The article Maryland gubernatorial election, 1998 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No information or sources, just an info box; adds no reliable or useful information to Wikipedia.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Avetik Chalabyan article up for deletion
editHi Jamesyons! About 2 years ago I wrote a biography of a living person article [Chalabyan]. The article has been recently marked as up for deletion. Any advice on why this might be happening, how to address it or what to improve would really be appreciated. Obviously, your vote as an experienced editor on Wiki would really go a long way to make sure it's not deleted.
Thanks in advance for your attention to the matter.

Unsourced changes and citation errors
editHi Jamesyons. As I was going through the list of citation errors I came across many of you recent edits. Unfortunately I've had to revert them as they are unsourced, and causing the previously mentioned errors. When updating demographic figure it's best to make sure that you are adding new sources, and updating the rest of the article not just table data. Sorry again to have to rever so many edits, ActivelyDisinterested (talk) 14:06, 18 October 2021 (UTC)
