Thanks for keeping my Kaspersky articles all clean, good buddy. You're getting a raise! --Eugene Kaspersky
TechOutsider's apologies
editJamshud, I apologize for being uncivil when discussing about Kaspersky Internet Security. If I offended you, I sincerely apologize. Treating and talking to people in such a way - online or in person - is completely unacceptable. I hope we can put the incident away in the past, and collaborate on the article. I wish I had gotten around to this earlier, however I was too ashamed of my self to drop a note on your talk page. Had you reported me, I would definitely have been banned. Thank YOU for being civil, calm, and even-handed. Thank you again for actually trying to improve the article based upon my criticism.
So, do you wish to archive the Kaspersky Internet Security talk page? Archiving will hide the page from most users, so maybe they will not think that kind of behavior is acceptable. There is also not much actual, constructive criticism on the current talk page. However, it may be seen as an attempt to hide my past. I would appreciate your input.

Kaspersky Internet Security - Roadmap
editHello Jamshud. I was wondering where would you like to take the KIS article? Many editors simply contribute a little to the article every now and then, simply maintaining it. If you wish for the article to be a good article, then it is going to take some more time. Same for featured article class. I would definitely like to see the article become an FA eventually, however what is your goal? I will leave a small summary on your talk page every now and then detailing what I have done to the article if you do decide to take the article to GA, then FA class.
So, after looking at the article, it needs a rewrite in some places. As it stands, the article focuses too much on the latest 2009 edition (the system requirements section applies to the 2009 edition). Norton Internet Security was much the same during one period of time. I decided to remove the system requirements chart and detail specific requirements for each version of NIS. I will work on that for the next couple of days.

Update
editJamshud, I have boldly removed the features and system requirements section. I am currently working on the 2005 section. However, I could not locate any sources on KIS 2005, except for two German (?) publications. TechOutsider (talk) 01:32, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
The article also needs a "Reception" section similar to that of Norton Internet Security's. TechOutsider (talk) 01:33, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
