editWelcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to M. S. Viswanathan, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. editPlease refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at M. S. Viswanathan. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 17:07, 26 April 2015 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at M. S. Viswanathan, you may be blocked from editing.
Please stop. Your edits have been reverted multiple times. Present your facts on the article's talk page and allow editors with a better grasp of idiomatic English and Wikipedia policies to add them (provided there are sources). Note that trivial details do not belong in Wikipedia articles, copyedited text should not be replaced with non-copyedited text, and information does not need to be repeated several times. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 19:58, 29 April 2015 (UTC)

editYou may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at M. S. Viswanathan.
Nothing has changed since the previous message - please stop restoring the non-neutral text (especially since all the factual information is already in the article). Note that trivial details do not belong in Wikipedia articles, copyedited text should not be replaced with non-copyedited text, and information does not need to be repeated several times. bonadea contributions talk 21:00, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
Dear the person is on his death bed. People look to Wikipedia for sources. Why incorrect information is to be spread. When already there is a well written article with references, why to remove them 1) Why his career in hindi , kannada is being ignored? 2) Why his contribution to career of singers is ignored? 3) Why no mention of his famous films ?
- All that is in the article. Please take a closer look at what's actually there before you revert again; many editors have worked hard to make it a useful article and right now it's more important than ever to have a readable article which does not contain inappropriate amounts of repetitous information and promotional wording. --bonadea contributions talk 11:44, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
Will try to put more information with more references. I need few hours. His contribution to life of playback singers, actors, his childhood life, the films which were auccessfyk2 have not been mentioned on current version. I had painstakingly put so many information .till then if you search n put it would be greater mJancater (talk) 12:23, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at M. S. Viswanathan.
I'm sorry, but your refusal to adhere to the neutral point of view policy and your repeated reinsertion of text that repeats what is already in the article makes it difficult to keep the article factual and readable. Wikipedia doesn't say that somebody "shot to fame", "was given a big break", or was "booked" for something. The additions of a large number of names is also disruptive - it makes the article very hard to read. Please discuss your additions on the article's talk page, and wait until after you have achieved a clear consensus in favour of your version, before you add it again. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 17:34, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
Another important matter is the fact that some text appears to have been cut and pasted directly from the sources, in violation of Wikipedia's copyright policy. Please don't add any text straight from the sources - all information must have a source, but it has to be rewritten completely. Use the sources as a basis for the information, never for the sentences or phrasings. Thank you. --bonadea contributions talk 17:40, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
Would be happy if you re-write.I have modified that sentence. But please retain the facts I have provided with. I have given references too now. Hope now again no fact is removed. Am trying to get data about his career as an actor, his music in Malayalam, telugu, his collaboration with lyricists in Malaylam and Telugu as well.Jancater (talk) 17:56, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
- "that sentence"? You had added many sentences that were copied and pasted straight from the sources. And today you did so again. This is your absolute final warning: do not violate copyright again or you will be reported and probably blocked from editing. --bonadea contributions talk 11:59, 18 July 2015 (UTC)
There is no copyright violation. Seems without any valid reason you are reverting.Jancater (talk) 14:30, 19 July 2015 (UTC)
- Perhaps you don't understand what "copyright violations" means. Please see my post higher up on this page. No text must be copied straight from the source and that includes minimal rephrasings. Since you restored copyrighted text with this edit ("Cho. Ramaswamy's made a political satire film named Muhammad bin Tughlaq and Vishwanathan sang the song Allah Allah Nee Illadha Idame Illai." - taken from http://www.thehindu.com/news/national/tamil-nadu/veteran-music-composer-ms-viswanathan-dead/article7420180.ece with only a token effort of paraphrasing), your edits violate Wikipedia's strict copyright policy and you have been reported to the administrators. You also repeatedly add unsourced tezt, large amounts of undue detail, and promotional text, all of which is also against Wikipedia's policies.
- And in your previoous edits you also added many copyright violations. It has taken quite some time and effort to fix it. --bonadea contributions talk 14:33, 19 July 2015 (UTC)
There is no copyright violation. Seems without any valid reason you are reverting.Jancater (talk) 14:30, 19 July 2015 (UTC) 1) Below link shows clearly - no further citation needed for the sentence - M. S. Viswanathan also scored music for many non-film albums and for political campaigns.cn|date=July 2015 as in my version - .ref name="Hindu article in MSV" is mentioned!! 2) What makes you remove the line? - Cho Ramaswamy made a political satire film named Muhammad bin Tughlaq and Vishwanathan sang the song Allah Allah Nee Illadha Idame Illai. 3) Whats the issue with the line - He had played the child's character named Kovalan in the film Kannagi produced by Jupiter Pictures - when reference is already present? 4) Music directors like V. Kumar, Sankar Ganesh, Ilaiyaraaja, Gangai Amaran, Deva, Bharathwaj, A. R. Rahman, Yuvan Shankar Raja and others considered Vishwanathan as their inspiration.http://www.sify.com/movies/veteran-music-composer-ms-viswanathan-is-no-more-news-tamil-phok7Feachaac.html
Just because in earlier versions there were copyright issues does not mean , present version , despite being free of any copyright violations, gets reverted! Also while the previous versions - straight lines were lifted from sites - as facts were being removed. I had promotly informed you, that you are free to re-write sentences , after I had put up all the facts with references in the main article page. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=M._S._Viswanathan&type=revision&diff=672135088&oldid=672134891 - read it and observe by yourself that there is no copyright violation.Jancater (talk) 14:42, 19 July 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, I have put a lot of effort into removeing copyright violating text. It would actually have been more in accordance with Wikipedia policy for me to simply remove all such violations, instead of rewriting them. If we add problematic text we cannot request that other editors should fix it - it is the responsibility of the editor who adds the text to make sure that it does not violate policy. Of course it is possible to make an error and to be in ignorance of various rules - but you have in fact been informed that your edits, including your most recent edits, violate a number of policies, most importantly the copyright policy. Please see this information and do not restore the edit again.
- As for your no 4 above, the source does not support that information. I'll have a look at your points 1 and 3. --bonadea contributions talk 14:52, 19 July 2015 (UTC)
Lockdown
editYou seem to be adding inappropriate information to one our pages. We can not accept copyright, but you apparently can not accept that answer. Accordingly, the page you've been editing has been lockdown for three months. When the protection is lifted you are free edit again, but know that my next move there will be a block of this account and not protection for the affected article.
