Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, JaneP1976. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Starkville Academy, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. John from Idegon (talk) 21:06, 15 July 2018 (UTC)
Important, non-optional question
editJane, do you have any relationship with this school? Are you an employee? Are you a student there? Are you an alumni? Are you a parent or other relative of any student, staff or alumni? Do you have a written or unwritten contractural relationship with the school? Do you work for an organization that does? Do you work for, or contract to, any organization this school may belong to? Are you being compensated in any manner for your edits on behalf of this school in any way, monetarily or otherwise, either directly or indirectly? Please answer these questions directly prior to any further editing activities regarding this school. Thank you. John from Idegon (talk) 21:20, 15 July 2018 (UTC)
John, no to all of the above. Who do you work for?

editPlease stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Starkville Academy, you may be blocked from editing. Go to the talk page. FYI, I'm self employed, but I didn't show up today on Wikipedia making edits to only one article in a clear attempt to whitewash it, making the exact same edits that editors who did have a conflict of interest and were blocked for it made. I'd strongly suggest you stop changing the article and start a discussion on the talk page. You are the one who wants to change the article; policy here requires to form a WP:CONSENSUS for your opposed change. If you cannot do that, the article will not be changed. Make arguments based on reliable sources and Wikipedia policies and guidelines. John from Idegon (talk) 22:33, 15 July 2018 (UTC)
Edit warring report
editHi, I've removed the report because there was no useful information present, but if you'd like to format it so that it's functional you are welcome to re-add it. One thing that may help is using the preview function. I've been active on this website for quite a while and preview before saving every edit. Hope this helps and feel free to ask questions!
