Hello, Janehotcher, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hi Jane, I just wanted to say thanks for your efforts, and that I hope we'll see you around for years to come. Wikipedia's medical articles need lots of work. BTW, as part of the Wikipedia:WikiProject Unreferenced articles/Backlog drives/November 2024, we're trying to deal with the last few unref'd medical articles on Wikipedia, and if you've got a few minutes free during the Thanksgiving holiday, we'd appreciate the help. Just adding any one reliable source is enough to justify marking it off the list (though if you want to do more than that, feel free!). WhatamIdoing (talk) 19:48, 23 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia as a source

Hi. I reverted part of your addition to the .med article because you added Wikipedia as a source. Wikipedia isn't a reliable source for Wikipedia articles. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:04, 17 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
