I hope you do not mind
I hope you do not mind but I decided to steal your table on your user page. I like your idea and thought to use it for my page. Hope you're fine with that. See here.--WillC 10:49, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Please contribute to our National Day project!
Greetings, Jappalang! Congratulations on breaking WikiProject Singapore's 18-month FA drought with your masterpiece, Toa Payoh ritual murders! Besides writing GAs and FAs about computer and video games, I encourage you to write more Singapore-related GAs and FAs. Several SGpedians are planning a project to get Singapore-related articles on the Main Page on National Day. Please consider contributing to our project, either by improving Singapore in Malaysia so it attains GA status (and earns a slot in "On This Day", where it will appear every 9 August), or by writing a DYK or two (prepare it in a user subpage and move it to mainspace on 5 August). Kindly inform me, by the end of the month, how you plan to contribute. Thank you in advance and happy editing! --J.L.W.S. The Special One (talk) 06:06, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Thankyou
The articles Battle of the Nile and Order of battle at the Battle of the Nile have both now passed their respective FAC and FLC, and as many of the points raised in these processes were applicable to both articles I wanted to thank you for your assisance and support. Online Ambassadors
I saw your recent contributions at DYK and I clicked on over to your user page and was pretty impressed. Would you be interested in helping with the WP:Online_Ambassadors program? It's really a great opportunity to help university students become Wikipedia contributers. I hope you apply to become an ambassador, Sadads (talk) 02:59, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
Bugle Op-Ed
Hi mate, as a last-minute op-ed for the August Bugle I penned a brief recollection of September 11 for the 10th anniversary. I agreed with Ed that perspectives from various nationalities would be appropriate if people can manage it in time (have to be in the next 24 hours or so!) and your name came up as one who might be interested. Here's what's there at the moment, pls feel free to add or comment. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 02:24, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
CoinTalk
The webmaster contacted me and asked if there was some way that the forums could be linked. I said I had to look up policy. Strictly speaking, it's probably a no, but if they are going to help with images, there's something to be said for bending a point or two.--Wehwalt (talk) 17:10, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
New editor from CoinTalk
Hi, Jappalang, we have a new colleague, User:BrandonBigheart, whom I recruited from CoinTalk (well, he's been here a while but needed a bit of practical training). He has uploaded two images to Commons already [1] and [2]. I'm giving him a bit of practical image training on my talk page, would you like to drop in and introduce yourself and kibbitz as you feel appropriate?--Wehwalt (talk) 21:25, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
