{{unblock | reason=i have been caught in a block that is not meant for me (see http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Guinness_World_Records&action=edit&section=5). my IP address is 196.44.180.235 and not the one listed on the block. thank you [[User:Jashca|Jashca]] ([[User talk:Jashca#top|talk]]) 11:58, 11 October 2011 (UTC)}}

Hi. I can't find a block on you or that IP - and I can't really see what that Guinness thing has to do with you seeming to be blocked. What message are you getting? Peridon (talk) 13:01, 11 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
You appear to be editing from behind a open proxy. Do you know why this would be the case? TNXMan 15:17, 11 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

{{unblock | reason=thank you for your response. i have no idea what an open proxy is. i live in bulawayo in zimbabwe and use a dial up connection through yo!africa.com. i am an only user in this company and no other computers on this particular connection. perhaps that is the problem? maybe all dial up users in this town use a couple of servers that are connected to an open proxy? i have no idea how these things work to be honest. i have never had a problem editing before. the message i get is: (if you look at the end it has listed an IP address) You are currently unable to edit pages on Wikipedia. You can still read pages, but you cannot edit, move, or create them. Editing from 41.190.32.114 has been disabled by Closedmouth for the following reason(s): <snip>}}

Hello Jashca. I have granted you temporary IP block exemption so you can continue to edit in spite of the IP block. Please read that policy. Thanks. -- zzuuzz (talk) 08:18, 13 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
