Thanks for uploading File:DM DHAKA MEDICL LOGO.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Dhakamedicalcollege10.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 19:06, 17 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and thank you for collaborating with Wikipedia.

We hope you have enjoyed your time with this project; unfortunately for you, we have deleted one of your contributions, which appears to consist of content literally copied from another website or a work of printed material that may be protected by copyright, incorporated into one of our articles without the express authorization of the copyright holder. As explained in Wikipedia:Copyrights, contributions of this type are unacceptable for legal reasons, as they may imply a violation of the author's copyrights on such material. For this reason, your text has been removed and a notice has been placed in your talk page stating that your addition may be a possible violation of copyright law.

You should know that, according to the Berne Convention, which governs the international regulation of intellectual property, most literary and artistic works are protected by copyright and all rights on their reproduction are reserved by their authors, unless otherwise stated in a clear and explicit manner. Even if the page from which your text is suspected to have been copied does not bear an indication that it is copyrighted and/or that all rights on it are reserved, this does not mean that the page in question is available for your use on Wikipedia.

Wikipedia's policy permits the use of external websites and/or publications for verification of the information used in articles; however, it does not permit the use of copyrighted sources for the incorporation of article content, such as sentences or images. In order for the use of such content to be permitted on Wikipedia, the license under which such material is published must be compatible with the same licenses under which Wikipedia is published (Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike Unported 3.0 and the GNU Free Documentation License). These licenses permit the commercial use of reused content, provided that such content is used in accordance with the terms of use of its respective license.

If a web site does not indicate the license under which it is available, you may ask for permission from the owner of such a site to reproduce the content thereof by means of the declaration of consent for all inquiries, which may be found at Commons:Email templates. If you yourself are the author of the text which you have copied, send the pertinent authorization notice from the address associated with the site manager, as explained in the link above.

Remember that our policy regarding copyright is non-negotiable; while others may be prepared to violate the law, the responsibility of the Wikipedia project is too large to afford it. If you post copyrighted content persistently, you will be blocked from editing for a certain period of time. For further information about the regulations and conventions of this project, please see Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines. Fut.Perf. 21:13, 17 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
