Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article Prospect Place, please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Hi! Are you referring to File:Lydia Boggs Shepherd Cruger 1832.JPG? If so, why would you want it deleted? It is almost certainly in the public domain due to its age, we would just need to clean up the description and licensing stuff. Killiondude (talk) 17:45, 11 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you all for your help! I appreciate it!

I need somebody to help me rotate an image in an article. It is the image of the portrait of Lydia Boggs Shepherd Cruger in the Shepherd Hall (Monument Place) article. The file is File:Lydia Boggs Shepherd Cruger 1832.JPG. Somebody rotated the original file image. Can somebody please rotate it back to the way it is supposed to be? Thank you! Jat1979 (talk) 20:06, 1 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

It's strange that the image history shows it has always been rotated. Anyway, it appears to be fixed now. Someguy1221 (talk) 23:04, 1 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thank you! I really appreciate it! Jat1979 (talk) 23:21, 1 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Survey Invite

edit

I'm working on a study of political motivations and how they affect editing. I'd like to ask you to take a survey. The survey should take 5 minutes. Your survey responses will be kept private. Our project is documented at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Wikipedia_%2B_Politics.

Survey Link: http://uchicago.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_80J3UDCpLnKyWTH?Q_DL=eYcEJhpD4guKGZT_80J3UDCpLnKyWTH_MLRP_3pW8UzAnZ76tv7f&Q_CHL=gl

I am asking you to participate in this study because you are a frequent editor of pages on Wikipedia that are of political interest. We would like to learn about your experiences in dealing with editors of different political orientations.

Sincere thanks for your help! Porteclefs (talk) 20:48, 4 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
