Speedy deletion nomination of Nate Doss
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Nate Doss requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. MikeWazowski (talk) 03:11, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

Editing suggestion
editI was visiting Rlendog's talk page and happened to see your question about restoring deleted material you had been working on. You may already be aware of this, but I thought I'd mention: You can click the View History tab to see the list of edits for an article and look up an edit that preceded the deletion. Click the edit's time/date link to display the article as it appeared at that point in time. Click the Edit link to open the edit window, then block and copy the text you want, markup and all. Just be careful not to change or save anything (close the edit window by clicking the Article tab or a link to some other page). What I usually do at this point is copy the text into Notepad and work on it from there. Hope that's helpful. Allreet (talk) 18:42, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 4
editHi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Infobox dam
editHey Jaywm, nice job on North Dam. I worked on Grand Coulee Dam a few years ago and am really amazed by the whole project. I noticed the Infobox dam you used was missing a lot of the parameters. I think some editors don't like to have empty parameters in their infoboxes but I generally find it helpful to have them all in case more information is put into it later. It's a pain adding more parameters. Some editors may copy an older version of Infobox dam from an existing dam article as well. Either way, if you didn't have the full template, you can find it here.--NortyNort (Holla) 20:59, 24 January 2015 (UTC)
- Excellent, and thanks. I've been wondering about the inconsistent info boxes, and wished they were full. Up until now I've just used an info box from a recent article. Thanks a ton for linking me to a complete info box for dams.Jaywm (talk) 03:54, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
