Up for adoption
Hey, could you adopt me? I really need a mentor and someone to remind me that I actually mean something on Wikipedia. Thx. --XndrK (talk · contribs · count) 16:21, 16 June 2013 (UTC)
- Of course! I'll set your adoption classroom up! jcc (tea and biscuits) 16:22, 16 June 2013 (UTC)
A kitten for you!

Question about Sourcing
This is a bit weird, but I was just interested. Is the PBS Kids Go television series Wild Kratts a reliable source for biological information? --XndrK (talk · contribs · count) 21:31, 17 June 2013 (UTC)
- I wouldn't rely on it when there is other sources available, but as a last resort, yes. Hope that helps, jcc (tea and biscuits) 11:55, 18 June 2013 (UTC)
Sample cite article is unfamiliar to me
I know next to nothing about David Cameron. Can we do something simple, like dog or bacon? Or did you give me something hard on purpose? XndrK (talk · contribs · count) 20:46, 18 June 2013 (UTC)
Next lesson, please!
I'm finished with Lesson 3. Please check my work and give me the next lesson. XndrK (talk · contribs · count) 21:52, 18 June 2013 (UTC)
Your move review
Would you be ok if I closed your move review? it seems IIO doesn't want one, and I don't see that one is needed; the move is old, life goes on, etc. Or you could withdraw it, for example.--Obi-Wan Kenobi (talk) 01:04, 22 June 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's cool. jcc (tea and biscuits) 11:32, 22 June 2013 (UTC)
- please either restore or better still archive my conversation with you as I have linked to it here -- PBS (talk) 08:54, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
- I think the lack of formatting in your log of our previous conversation makes it very difficult to read. Can I reformat back to the original format? -- PBS (talk) 07:29, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
- In future I suggest that if you are going to continue make administrative decisions that are likely to result in discussions on your talk page you keep an proper archive of your talk page, as deleting such correspondence makes it difficult to carry out administrative reviews. The easiest way to do this is to set up a bot. -- PBS (talk) 07:29, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
- Please assume good faith, I did not mean to delete the discussion. Also, I would suggest that you read up on non admin closures where it says that non-admins are allowed to close RMs, and specifically suggests RM's over say XfDs. I archive when necessary. Also on the move review, all participating users are saying my decision was correct, though I do value your views. You may restore formatting, there is a notice at the top warning that there is no formatting, and I would be very happy if you did so. jcc (tea and biscuits) 15:56, 25 June 2013 (UTC)

Done with adoption assignment!
I finished my cats adoption assignment. Had to kludge it though. How did I do? --XndrK (talk · contribs · count) 02:12, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
Please do not remove review history on Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/How-To Geek
Although it looks ugly, but please do not remove review history from your Articles for Creation submission. When we review, we first read your article thoroughly rather than just looking at the past results. Don't worry about it. I've restored the review history. Good luck! Technoquat
That almost certainly was User:Technoquat at the Help Desk. See WP:DUCK. If it shows up trolling at the Help Desk and quacks like Technoquat, it probably is another of Technoquat's sockpuppets. I have reported that sock. Robert McClenon (talk) 20:15, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
- Nice. I suspected so, but didn't want to be told off for biting newcomers if it wasn't Technoquat. jcc (tea and biscuits) 10:38, 7 July 2013 (UTC)
reviewer
Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.
Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

Taranauts to deletion
Hi iam krishvino,
May i know why you move the article Taranauts to deletion.
Please teach me how to create article without these issues
- Hello Krishvino! I have archived the deletion, and so the article is back on Wikipedia! however, in its current state the article might not be kept, due to lack of notability (meaning famous). To show the books are famous, reference a link to a newspaper or magazine (preferably online), like an article from the Indian Times saying "Great Read- Taranauts!". I can show you how to do this if you join my adoption course, where I teach you about using Wikipedia, or I can tell you the quick way! Leave a note telling me of your decision, jcc (tea and biscuits) 14:09, 9 July 2013 (UTC). P.S- If you find any of the words I used too confusing, tell me and I can explain them to you.
Thanks a Lot, Sure i will add all online refrence links about Taranauts book & author(Roopa Pai). Thanks for showing interest for my message.
Relisting
Since the RM bot always checks the first signature in a nomination to determine where to list it, if you're relisting for a second time, you should leave that note before the previous one. It's one of those occasional exceptions where newer content can precede older content on a talk page. --BDD (talk) 20:16, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry! Is there a note about this on the instructions that I missed? jcc (tea and biscuits) 16:08, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
- Not exactly, though this fix might avoid some confusion in the future. RM relisting can be a bit wonky. One experienced admin has made several relist errors simply by, as far as I can tell, preceding the signature with --. --BDD (talk) 16:13, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you so much- and not getting angry at me about it! jcc (tea and biscuits) 16:14, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
- Hey, you're helping maintain the backlog. Unless you were actually breaking things, how could I be angry? Keep up the good work. --BDD (talk) 16:16, 11 July 2013 (UTC)

GA recruitment
Hey Jcc, I've started a page for the recruitment: Wikipedia:WikiProject Good articles/Recruitment Centre/Recruiter Central/Archives/Jcc. Let me know when you've studied the GA criteria, and we'll move forward. Thanks, looking forward to working with you. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 20:43, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
