I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Helpme}} before the question.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and should be treated accordingly.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 08:23, 18 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Online Communities Project CAD Talk Page

edit

Hello, Jared. There is minimal talk on the CAD page, and we reached out to Thegreatdr, but have yet to receive a response. He is extremely active in the meteorology world of Wikipedia. We also contacted other editors without any luck. How do you suggest we attract more activity or editors? Thanks for your help! Cornellwx (talk) 17:30, 26 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hey Adam! It looks like Thegreatdr got back to you on the talk page of the CAD article. I'd reply on the page and let him know you'll update him after a couple milestones. Jdk243 (talk) 23:23, 29 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

COMM 3460: Maria Popova

edit

Hi Jared! I was wondering if you could take a quick look at our outline for how we plan to edit/improve the article on Maria Popova? Here is a link to the talk page: Maria Popova. We would appreciate any recommendations that you may have for us. I think that we currently have a good grasp on how to leverage the different sources that we have identified to make improvements, but would be open to any suggestions or general words of wisdom in regards to what you think a reasonable end product would look like (so that we can keep that in mind even when making our initial edits).

As our first draft for this is due next week, we will be working through this weekend and would appreciate any feedback you have for us when you get a chance to take a look. Thanks again!

Thanks again for taking a look at the Maria Popova article! We have acted on the feedback regarding incorporating media for the article by reaching out to Maria with a request for her to upload to Wikimedia Commons. I hope she is able to get back to us with good news. However, in the meantime, we have also gone ahead and added a substantial amount of new content and would appreciate any comments or suggestions that you might have! Here is a link to the talk page if you do have any comments. Ric.chi (talk) 17:58, 3 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
