You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 22:33, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Bbb23, I'm reasonably confident Eswong and Jebbles are different people; both have communicated with me offwiki and appear authentically different. Is this block based entirely on behavioural evidence? Vaticidalprophet 22:41, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Based on what they've been doing, I figured they were either sock puppets or meat puppets. Either way, it's a violation of policy. They're clearly collaborating, not just on en.wiki but even on Commons. In addition, Jebbles (or the Jebbles account) does not act like a new user. Why would they both communicate with you offwiki?--Bbb23 (talk) 22:49, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
(Non-administrator comment) What policy are they violating? I'm fairly certain "collaborating" is not against policy; you seem to be suggesting that some policy is violated even assuming they are different people? User:力 (power~enwiki, π, ν) 22:54, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
(edit conflict) They both joined Discord and sought mentorship, which I offered because I'm reasonably experienced with medical editing. Jebbles appeared fairly authentically new-editor when I first interacted with her; inasmuch as she "doesn't" now I assume it's because she's talking with someone who has a fair amount of sense of how to edit in her spheres of interest, which is what we want new editors to do. My thoughts on the applicability of "meatpuppetry" here are as Power's; it does not strike me as applicable to "people who collaborate in their shared area of interest without disruption". Bbb23 I just want to add onto my unblock request in response to the "In addition, Jebbles (or the Jebbles account) does not act like a new user." First, as Vaticidalprophet stated, he and the others on the Discord has helped me temendously learning the ropes as a new editor. You can definitely check the logs in the discord we are in for an abundance of random questions that I have asked. I spent my sleepless insomniac nights these last few days reading pretty much every Wiki essay on what to do and what not to do (even WP:BEANS). To build up from this, I have lots of experience as a graduate from a bachelor degree program in writing objective essays and literature reviews. I also have experience in writing a research thesis for my capstone project. The skills I learned from my education has been transferable to helping to improve Wikipedia. I believe that the accusation of me and TheRibinator as meatpuppets is not founded on grounds that supports the definition of meatpuppetry described in WP:MEAT. It mentions there is a high-profile dispute, or any dispute in which one person will ask another offwiki to "back them up". We don't have any disputes, nor causes to promote. We did not recruit each other to influence any decision on Wikipedia. I have not participated in anything that would be considered as such as far as I am aware of. We simply both have the same interest in improving articles that have needed the attention. We are open to answering any questions or concerns that you may have. Thanks, Jebbles (talk) 23:34, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I do not understand why I was blocked. As Vaticidalprophet stated, me and Eswong/TheRibinator are entirely different people. We do edit the same articles because we are both passionate about closing a very large gap in the information presented on Wikipedia in terms of conditions that affect the ribs. If there is anything needed to prove we are two completely different people who live in different countries, that would be more than easy to do because we are two completely different people who live in seperate countries. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to prove this. We do communicate offwiki on Discord. I thought collaboration is the entire premise of Wikipedia, as people collaborate together on articles to create a free, online Encyclopedia. Jebbles (talk) 22:56, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Accept reason:

I do not believe this is abusive coordination. Unblocked. GeneralNotability (talk) 00:27, 22 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Bbb23, is there any evidence of disruption or deception in how these two users are working together? GeneralNotability (talk) 23:32, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
@GeneralNotability: I suspect I have a broader view of what constitutes disruption or deception. I am not convinced by Jebbels's arguments. That said, if you wish to unblock the two users, that's fine.--Bbb23 (talk) 00:17, 22 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
