It was a mistake to ignore my advice. Your edits seem extremely amateurish. Please realise you have no idea what you are doing. You have to learn that this is an enclopedia. Your contributions will not stay. We want proper prose that can be verified and has incline citations. We don't want empty sections, random links or how-to, guide information. - Shiftchange (talk) 08:41, 11 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions. One of your recent contributions to 2010–2011 Queensland floods Affected Areas has been reverted or removed, because it contains speculative or unconfirmed information about a future event. Wikipedia has a policy called Wikipedia is not a crystal ball, which discourages such edits. Please only add material about future events if it is verifiable, based on a reference to a reliable source. Thank you. Zachlipton (talk) 08:57, 11 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to 2010–2011 Queensland floods. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mattinbgn (talk) 09:26, 11 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue. In particular the three-revert rule states that making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful, then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. Post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Last warning. Stop, or you will be blocked from editing. You can follow our rules or you can go elsewhere. -- 09:36, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
