Your edits to 1988

edit

Some of your edits on the page 1988 have been undone by PseudoBot, a robot built to keep the date pages tidy. The problems are:

The person you added doesn't seem to have a Wikipedia page.

If the page exists, check that you've spelled and capitalized the name the same way as the article, and try again. If it doesn't yet exist, read this page carefully before creating it. In particular, you shouldn't create a page about yourself or anyone you know personally. If this bot has got it wrong (as can unfortunately happen), please accept its author's apologies, and (if you would like) leave a message on this talk page with the details, so it can be improved. Please see this page for help. PseudoBot (talk) 05:52, 22 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Jeewantha Ranganath Samarasekara

edit

A tag has been placed on User:Jeewantha Ranganath Samarasekara, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

A User page that looks like an article

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 07:49, 22 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

I've removed the speedy tag, Roger Dodger, as WP:FAKEARTICLE is not a speedy criterion. You'll have to take it to Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion, but you might want to give Jeewantha a chance to edit it first.
@Jeewantha, please change your userpage so it doesn't look like an article. For instance, don't speak of yourself in the third person. Don't list your cv and get rid of the "Profile" userbox. I strongly advise you against giving out private information on Wikipedia, such as your e-mail address and physical address; it's just not a good idea. You might want to click around a few other userpages to get ideas. Welcome to Wikipedia! Bishonen | talk 10:22, 22 August 2013 (UTC).Reply
