Speedy deletion nomination of Timothy Hoyle Ernest Walter Curtis
editA tag has been placed on Timothy Hoyle Ernest Walter Curtis requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion nomination of of Dormant Sensory Organ
editA tag has been placed on Dormant Sensory Organ, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Queenie 20:57, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
Hi Jefuab,
I'm not going to tag this article for speedy deletion, but that's not going to be much of a consolation. As you made the effort on your user page to ask for comments, I thought I'd leave you a personal message rather than an automated template.
I am going to propose the article for deletion on the grounds that, apart from some information about the pineal gland (which is covered in its own article), it seems to be original research. Wikipedia articles should not contain original research and theories should be published in reliable third party sources. The only occurrences of the phrase "dormant sensory organ" that Google produces (not the fount of all knowledge, I know) are references to a quote from the movie "From Beyond". The one reference in the article cites a book about disorders of the nervous system and does not seem to relate to the subject of this article.
An administrator may delete the article after a minimum of seven days, without discussion. If you wish to contest the deletion, instructions can be found on the Wikipedia:Proposed deletion page. Regards,

Yes
editYes Mr/Ms/Mrs Jefuab, I have. Don't think that it is saved, if it as unreliable as has been said, well, it might be possible that not even my genius can save it! --Miracler (talk) 19:09, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
Categorise
editHello fellow user, I have placed your article on Dormant Sensory Organ into the Biology category. I hope that you do not feel any animosity towards this act.--Miracler (talk) 20:49, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
Vandalism
editSorry to see that your user page was vandalised. Remember that your user page has a history (here's a link to yours) like most other pages on Wikipedia. You can copy and paste text from an old revision of the page. You can also "undo" the vandal's changes from there :). TheSmuel (talk) 13:02, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
Discussing your birthday
editWelcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Let's All Go to the Lobby are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you.--McGeddon (talk) 18:04, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Dormant sensory organ
editA proposed deletion template has been added to the article Dormant sensory organ, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Appears to be synthesis of a Lovecraft quote and Blavatsky's interpretation of the pineal gland. The sections about vestigial tails, webbed feet and diseases seems to be WP:OR, and unconnected to "sensory organs".
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Proposed deletion of The Unnamable (film)
editA proposed deletion template has been added to the article The Unnamable (film), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Non-notable file. Article lacks references to support notability.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

- Article tag was removed because a simple search found an appropriate reference. Please make sure that your submissions are properly referenced to avoid notices such as the one above. --Blainster (talk) 18:52, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Fuzzbee Morse
editA tag has been placed on Fuzzbee Morse requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. — 141.156.175.125 (talk) 18:05, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Flagging Fuzzbee Morse for further review
editHello, Jefuab … I recently encountered the article about Fuzzbee Morse and in my opinion, it either does not verifiably satisfy the Notability criteria for Biographies, or it may violate the Conflict of interest guideline, or perhaps it violates a copyright.
I am considering tagging Fuzzbee Morse (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) for deletion according to the Deletion policy … I do not have time to examine the article in depth at the moment, and it may improve over time, in which case this warning was premature.
I have created this initial entry on your Talk page because you are either the original author of the article, or else a recent contributor to it; I will leave more detailed information regarding my specific concerns about the article on its Discussion page … please respond either there or on this Talk page, instead of on my Talk page, in order to avoid fragmenting the conversation.
Be sure to read Ownership of articles, and remember that Some Other Editors (including at least one administrator) may not share your opinion about the notability of the article's subject.
I do not mean to imply that your contribution is unappreciated … perhaps you should read Starting an article … and remember, there was a time when I knew less about how Wikipedia works than you know right now.
To better understand why I have used this template, please read Flag templates for deletion warnings ... I realize that some of the expressed possible concerns may not be appropriate in this case.
