SSSI stubs
editDon't be surprised if your recent burst of SSSI stubs start getting deleted. They really are too short to survive. It is better to leave them as missing articles - a red link highlights the need for an article; a stub can conceal that fact. -- RHaworth 14:53, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Jenny, you might want to take a look at Aust Cliff as an example of a SSSI-stub that's probably big enough to survive any AFD discussion. The citation sheets are all available at English Nature's website [1]; they're what I used as source for the information for the SSSI stubs I created. SP-KP 15:33, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
UK-geo-stubs
editHi - for future reference, if you're planning on making a load more stubs, UK-geo-stub is only used on articles about places which straddle loads of counties in the UK. All English counties have their own geo-stubs (as do several in Scotland and Wales, and there are more generic scotland-geo-stub, wales-geo-stub, and NI-geo-stub templates, too). The counties are split according to the ceremonial counties, so places in Avon would get Gloucestershire-geo-stub, Somerset-geo-stub, or Bristol-geo-stub. Grutness...wha? 02:58, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. There are a myriad of stub templates, so it can get pretty complex. Hope you enjoy being a wikipedian! Grutness...wha? 09:11, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
Bold on Fairy Toot (Nempnett)
editHi Jenny, Well done for your work on SSSI's. I noticed you had deleted the bolding on the Nempnett Thrubwell for Fairy Toot. The reason for this is that if you search for Fairy Toot you will be redirected to this page & therefore it is bolded to enable users to see that they have arrived at the right page. — Rod talk 09:37, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- You are right I had missed/forgotten the bolding in the lead paragraph - I've now reverted back to your edit - Thanks (& if you wanted to look at other Chew Valley articles that would be great. — Rod talk 10:53, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

User:MiraLuka/Userboxes/User queersupport
editHi, I just wanted to let you know that I moved the note you left on my talk page to User talk:MiraLuka/Userboxes/User queersupport. I know the note said to post on my talk, but that was somewhat outdated and I have removed it from all userboxes in my user space. I welcome any and all further comments. Thanks. —Mira 10:05, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
Darren Hayes Article
editHi Jenny Wong. Thanks for your edit on the Darren Hayes Wiki, however, it may be ascertained that the person was at one point of time a "straight", then wavered to "gay"/"bisexual".
Anyway, thank you for the edit. -- Qwerty 15:47, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
Sorry, I forgot to add the four tildes.
So I suppose you are a Briton of Asian, if not Chinese, descent? Am I correct in this conclusion? The premises here are that you frequent British related articles/stubs, and that you appear to be of some Chinese descent.
Anyway, you've got great editorial skills, and provide excellent edit summaries. --Qwerty 15:47, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
"Unencyclopediac Image"
editI wonder what that means..............I never read that "Happy Birthday watermarking" mean the image couldn't be used on wikipedia. Unitedroad 11:27, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
I wonder if that's written in the wikipedia guidlines about images. Unitedroad 11:52, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
she's a nazi apparently
you
editoops wrong person, nvm. Don't change my bttf2 thing though
- I can't reply at your talk page, as it's locked. Please sign your comments. Please don't tell me what I can and cannot edit - your edit (which I've removed again) is blatant speculation - original research, even - and can't be accepted here at Wikipedia. Jenny Wong 07:27, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
WTF is with this place? nazi land? geezus what, everything has to be peer reviewed? Do your own god damn research, it's fact, this isn't speculation. DO NOT remove it again
Re: Bizarre blanking
editNo problem. :) Large removals tend to get attention pretty quickly. My understanding is that it has something to do with Google toolbars not getting along with large amounts of text in edit boxes. Happy editing! Luna Santin 07:33, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
Edit summaries
editIf you find yourself forgetting to use edit summaries, you can set your preferences so that you will automatically get a reminder to include one if you're about to post an edit without one. You might want to do that. Regards, Newyorkbrad 13:24, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
Regarding recent edits to The Emperor's New School pages
editJenny, I'm no expert on Wiki, I'm trying to understand some of the edits you've made recently. Perhaps you can enlighten me?
Firstly is the correction of the word "zit" to the word "spot" for Empress Malina. It is an American show and the word zit was used multiple times in the episode. Your reason for reinstating the word "spot" was given as "encyclopedic tone". Can you elaborate, and point out where in Wiki's rules such a change is deemed necessary/appropriate?
Secondly, your attempts earlier in the week to delete all of the episode-specific pages I created. I put a lot of time, detail, and accuracy checking into those, and couldn't find any particular reason as to why they would be deleted. I WAS going to continue to cover the rest of the episodes in the same manner, but I'm not going to bother if people are just going to wipe it all away. Again, can you elaborate/show support?
I guess secondly is about it. Ah well. Like I say, I'm not an expert, indeed I am relatively new. But I really would like you to show me Wiki-based documentation backing up your edits please, even if it is merely so I can understand.

Dammit, one of those pages has been deleted now. I expect more will follow. I spent ages on those, and the one that's gone was one of the more intensive ones. Are you going to explain yourself?

Hi Jenny,
- Just to let you know that youve flagged these debates up as close and delete, but theyve not been deleted yet...
Thanks; I guess they must've slipped under the radar. Have now added them to Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Working#Empty then delete. Best wishes, David Kernow (talk) 02:10, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

editHi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
