Proposed deletion of Spatial Organization in Social Insects
editA proposed deletion template has been added to the article Spatial Organization in Social Insects, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? I'm just concerned that it's too narrow a subject for an article. xenocidic (talk) 22:32, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
Citing journals
editYou might consider changing your citations to use the Cite journal template. Let me know if you need any figuring that out. Best, xenocidic (talk) 00:40, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
- Done. I went ahead and did this, but take a look to see how it was done for future reference. best, xenocidic (talk) 18:07, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

A humble suggestion
editIt is helpful to use edit summaries as often as possible... to remind yourself to do so, there is a setting under Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. again, keep up the great work. xenocidic (talk) 15:50, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
- No problem Jenny. =) Happy editing, xenocidic (talk) 14:10, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Marked Bumble bees.jpg
editThank you for uploading Image:Marked Bumble bees.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sdrtirs (talk) 17:43, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Jenny - how would you like to license it? You could release it under GFDL by adding {{GFDL-self}} to the image, or something with attribution like {{cc-by-sa-3.0}}, or even some manner of copyrighted license. –xenocidic (talk) 18:01, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Jenny, what you did didn't solve the copyright issue. You need to let us know how you wish to license the photograph you've uploaded. Would you like to release it into the public domain? This means that anyone will be allowed to use the image for whatever purpose they desire. –xenocidic (talk) 23:05, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
- Just click here and paste this to the bottom of the page: {{GFDL-self}}. –xenocidic (talk) 13:35, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
