Tagging Flowerhead
editYou tagged the article for cleanup. I don't understand, I wrote most of this based on the style of similar articles. Feel free to make suggestions or edits in order to assist me become a better member of the wikipedia community, but I still don't understand what you mean after reading the manual of style. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Eschmitz (talk • contribs) 01:59, 7 February 2007 (UTC).
Request for Comment
editI have placed a request for comment under the Politics section regarding the issue of including the city blocks to medical marijuana dispensaries. The full RfC discussion is on the city of Ontario's talk page (since there was a related comment there). Please feel free to add your comments. Hopefully a third party can help with input. --theSpectator talk 20:59, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
File source problem with File:Chrisclavin.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Chrisclavin.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 14:34, 14 June 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Radiant chains (talk) 14:34, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Holden McNeil
editA proposed deletion template has been added to the article Holden McNeil, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- non notable character. Merge to either the movie articles or the actor article
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Holden McNeil
editMajor lead in character isn't a factor as to whether he should get his own article or not. It's content, out of universe information. McNeil's article currently has none and fits much better on a "characters" page. Similar to why Alyssa Jones redirects into Chasing Amy even though she too is a major character. The big article is not just about "minor charcters" but all View Askewniverse characters. hbdragon88 (talk) 06:02, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
- The article should be expanded, certainly, but merging seems unnecessary. there's just as much info about Holden as there is Banky Edwards, who is a more minor character yet still has his own (deserved) page. i think a cleanup/expansion tag would work, merging doesn't seem appropriate. jer the linear (talk) 13:14, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, I was planning on tackling most of the separate View Askewniverse character articles in due time, since all of them consist entirely of plot material that could be compressed and summarized. In any case, I favor a "merge now and spin out of necessary" sort of method, prefer only to spin out when enough out of universe content is demonstrated. Thoughts? hbdragon88 (talk) 16:40, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
- Eh, sounds fair enough. I'm not emotionally invested enough in it to argue against it. If you feel that's more appropriate, I'll concede. Let me know if you need any help, I was planning on some expansion of a lot of those characters and better citations. jer the linear (talk) 01:40, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Articles for deletion nomination of Holden McNeil
editI have nominated Holden McNeil, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Holden McNeil. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

File permission problem with File:Unitedphonelosers.gif
editThanks for uploading File:Unitedphonelosers.gif. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --ARTEST4ECHO talk 21:12, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- There is already a creative commons license declaration at the bottom of every phonelosers.net page. i will also send in the OTRS letter, but the action is not necessary since the image is already released under CC. This type of thing should be verified before tagging images for deletion. jer the linear (talk) 17:43, 26 September 2010 (UTC)

editPlease do not rearrange the furniture in my room, as you did when you snuck into my home, without citing a reliable source and letting me know so I won't stub my toe on a new chair when getting up in the middle of the night to use the sanitary facility.
