Jere7my
Hello, Josh E. is a kid I grew up with (now deceased) from the area who the original author of this page mentioned out of respect. Hope this clarifies. - MomointheWoods.
- I appreciate the sentiment, but unfortunately it's still not really appropriate to mention him in Wikipedia. Discuss it on the Nonantum talk page if you disagree. (The Josh E. line also wasn't added until Jan. 8 2007, four months after the article was created — it doesn't seem to be an addition by the original author.) --Jere7my 17:56, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Go for it
editAs per your comments on WT:SPOILER, I would hope that you consider writing up your ideas into a guideline form. The curent guideline isn't going to fly; hopefully by offering a clear-cut alternative it can accelerate a compromise.
And by the way, create a user page! :P David Fuchs (talk) 23:07, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks! I plan to draft something. But you suggested I do it on a "new page", which I'm not actually sure how to do — where do I put it, if not on the talk page or the project page? --Jere7my 23:12, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- You can create an additional user page, like I have: User:David Fuchs/draft. Just add a slash and then the name of the page and you add to your directory, so to speak. Just create the page; you can mark it later with a tag so an admin will delete it when you're done with the page. Cheers! David Fuchs (talk) 01:45, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks again! --Jere7my 01:49, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

It's good to have something to look at and talk about instead of going around in circles. I think that this draft may be a little too lenient about spoiler usage, but we should be able to find some compromise language. — Carl (CBM · talk) 05:14, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The file File:Scottish country dance reel.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
