CHERUB and other teenage spy novels

edit

Sorry, I should have explained better before. In the CHERUB article, you added various links to vaguely related articles which I've had to remove. The "See Also" section gives links to articles which are directly related to the subject matter. In this case, the current links are the author, characters from the series and an offshoot series - all completely relevant. The links you added - other books of the same genre - aren't. There are hundreds of teenage spy novel books and we can't link them all together. It's just...pointless. Furthermore, Cody Banks isn't even a novel.

Now my guess is that you toko this idea from "Fledgling Jason Steed", your favourite teenage novel. Whilst this article certainly contains such a scheme of See Also links, that is not the norm. See Also should be a fairly condense, concise section navigating readers the right way to explore the subject further. I shall remove these links on all relevant articles.

Thanks Greggers (tc) 07:15, 2 April 2009 (UTC) Hi Greg I understand sir. I am a big fan of Cherub, Alex Rider, Henderson Boys, Jason Steed, Cody Banks and Young James Bond. They are the best teen spy books written and all are best sellers. I have read them all over and over. The link was just to show similair books to give information to people who like me, love these books. Your comment is wrong, its okay not many people know, that is why I added it. The idea I thought to to supply information. This would help people even like yourself who did not know that Cody Banks is a novel ISBN-13: 978-0439651257 ISBN-13: 978-0792857709 this is for books 1 and 2. there are two cody banks novels.I am new to this and am just trying to help, the details I put are facts. It is important you get the facts correct before writing anything on wiki, worse still if you remove an item as you are unaware of a subject. If in your opinion the books the same as Alex Rider Cherub, Jason Steed do not need a link, I wonder why on films they often have SEE ALSO? I wont put it back as it would be pointless, I agree with some of your points, there are many teenage spy novels, but Cherub, Jason Steed, Young Bond and Alex Rider are the prmier league. I am still learning and you don't need to say sorry sir. Your explanation is correct and its thanks to people like you that help wiki be the great site it is.Reply

Fledgling Jason Steed

edit

Hi Jeremy,

Many thanks for your support of the article Fledgling Jason Steed when it was debated at Articles for Deletion. Sadly, despite more support than opposes, the Wikipedia admins decided it "was in the project's best interests" to delete the article. But... I am now working on a new version which, hopefully, will be acceptable to Wikipedia....and the one thousand people who viewed the page every day! Give me a few days...and I'll be in touch!--Beehold (talk) 23:00, 13 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
