Removal of content without adequate explanation
editHello, I'm Worldbruce. I noticed that you recently removed content from Economy of Bangladesh without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. --Worldbruce (talk) 14:51, 6 December 2019 (UTC)
My apologies but the data was very old, that's why I removed it. Jespa0001 (talk) 18:01, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
BC/AD
editPlease do not edit articles to change BC to BCE or AD to CE. The Wikipedia community has decided that either form is acceptable and we should retain the existing style. Certes (talk) 17:21, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
If either form is acceptable then changing it would not really matter. However BCE and CE is much more secular than AD and CE so I much strongly support using it as it would offend less people. Jespa0001 (talk) 17:57, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
AD and BC* Jespa0001 (talk) 17:58, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
- It's not a matter of taste. We should adhere to WP:ERA. Khruner (talk) 18:19, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
I do not understand why roman era dates or people of the perisan civilisation dates are in the AD/BC format.Gregory didn't even invent the gregorian calendar yet.Sure I understand that most people won't understand the roman/julian calendar or persian calendar and for the sake of world consistancy the gregorian standard should be used. However, should not those people who were non-christians,articles of those people should be written in the neutral CE and BCE format of the gregorian calendar?AD/BC is improper in those cases. - You have a point, and I see that you have made it in a good place at Wikipedia talk:Neutral point of view/BCE-CE Debate. If enough editors agree with you then WP:ERA may change but, until then, please leave the existing dates in their current format as required by Wikipedia's manual of style.
