Antacid article

edit

Hello Jesse,

First and foremost, I appreciate your additions to the article. I didn't really mean unsourced, I meant it's not a very qualitative source in my opinion. Some of the statements I know to be scientifically correct, but I'm not sure "Some food may be insufficiently digested, enabling it to putrefy in the gut, and causing a bloated feeling after eating." can stand up to scientific scrutiny, certainly not in that wording (although it's great to have a writer on these matters that uses language people can actually understand). I think this is an unproved hypothesis. Also, I'm not entirely sure it's "Vulnerability to parasites, bacteria and viruses": what viruses?

Anyway I'll edit some more and remove that deprecated source, which could be interpreted as a form of linkspam. Oh, and the style of your "sources"-notice is a bit atypical.

In case you need help or feedback you can always ask me.

Hey jesse, this edit is considered blanking. Please place a "dubious" tag or a "fact" tag on a section and give editors plenty of time to respond, Thanks.--Scribner 01:25, 28 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Survey Participation?

A colleague and I are conducting a study on health wikis. We are looking at how wikis co-construct health information and create communities. We noticed that you are a frequent contributor to Wikipedia on health topics.

Please consider taking our survey here.

This research will help wikipedia and other wikis understand how health information is co-created and used.

We are from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The project was approved by our university research committee and members of the Wikipedia Foundation.
