Douglas Grimes III (born June 14th, 1984) is an american recording artist and C.E.O of SoRighteous Entertainment, from New York City's Lower Manhattan NYC.

In 2002, he began writing and producing under the name of GodJewelz producing three mixtapes, “Pre- Portrait” -2003, “Prophecy part 1” -2004 and “Prophecy Part 2” -2005, gaining recognition within New York City’s underground rap scene, performing at open mic events and shows. -2010-2012- After a 6 year break from music, He returned with a new view on life, having became a father and a family man, he began creating new material. He released a single called "Around My Way" to learn the music business instead of being a victim of it. Looking to strengthen his public image he reconnected with childhood friend Brian BFYRE James creating videos for the music he makes. As a member of HellandBackProduktions owned by BFYRE, he contributed to the release of mixtapes (Hell On Earth, You Can't Win, SpringFever - 2011-2012) During the summer of 2012 GodJewelz decided to drop the God from his name and go with something more appropriate. Adapting his Facebook name ThaGoodfella, he reintroduced himself and his own company imprint SoRighteous Entertainment. His mission is to change the direction of music and create opportunity for artist that aren't in the majors. ThaGoodfella's debut "By Any Means" is set the be released early Spring 2013 independently on his own label. His recent single “Ambition/Don't know About Me” is available on iTunes, Rhapsody and Amazon.
