Hello, I'm TechnoSquirrel69. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Sobha Singh (builder), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 21:25, 6 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

I also recommend that you break up your edits based on what you're changing. The edit which I reverted also removed a substantial amount of material without explanation, changed a couple categories, and changed the short description. Since I can't undo only part of your edit, I had to reverse all of your changes. TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 21:28, 6 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Jathedar, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. MaplesyrupSushi (talk) 16:51, 10 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Sobha Singh (builder). This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Paris1127 (talk) 16:10, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Do not remove parameters - spouse, children and parents (if they have articles). They are important on their own, even if you have used relatives parameter, which are for "names of siblings or other relatives" per template documentation. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 19:59, 2 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Sangat Singh (Sikh warrior)

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Proposed deletion of Sujan Singh (contractor)

edit

Hello, Jhanda Singh

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Dclemens1971, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Sujan Singh (contractor), for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Dclemens1971}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Deletion discussion about Sujan Singh (contractor)

edit

Hello Jhanda Singh, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Sujan Singh (contractor), should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sujan Singh (contractor).

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Dclemens1971}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
