I started building a page by copying brochure information, which I would later document with footnotes when I leaned how to do it. This is a sandbox, right? Now all my work is deleted (because it was in progress?). How shall I practice putting the page together if I cannot tinker with it at my own pace? JimLyttlePhD (talk) 10:28, 12 September 2021 (UTC)

Hello Jim. I posted a message on your user talk page that explains the reasons for the deletion. The only additional comment I will make is that sandboxes are not exempt from Wikipedia's policy on copyrighted material. What you put in your sandbox has to be worded differently from the source material, not word-for-word copies or copies with only superficial changes. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 19:44, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
