Formula One
editPlease be reminded that if you want to make a change to an article, and someone reverts you, it is up to you to justify your edit. It is not down to others to prove you wrong in any way. Bretonbanquet (talk) 12:33, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
A discussion was started and that has run for a whole week and I have linked to it and the discussion currently says that the inclusion of the P should not happen. It has been justified on the discussion as to why it should not be included, now it is time to hear the other side of the argument, if there is one. If you would like to contribute to the discussion please feel free to do so here. --Jimjames1989 (talk) 12:37, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
- jj, you put the discussion on the talk page for the Formula One article, not the WP:F1 talk page. Easiest solution would be to just transcribe the discussion and continue it in the correct place. Pyrope 12:41, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
Running a discussion "for a whole week" in the wrong place doesn't count for anything. Leave the article as it is until a consensus is reached. Bretonbanquet (talk) 13:38, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Bretonbanquet (talk) 13:38, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
Indefinitely blocked
editPer Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Lucy-marie, I have indefinitely blocked this account. If you want to return to editing, please do not do so by deceiving the community; file a block appeal.
