Hi, Jimmy. Call me George. :) Your blog is really something else. You have a unique taste for architecture, and your 3D models really amaze me!

Well yes, I'm enthusiastic about the Western buildings in Fuzhou, but I focus more on its missionary history, its people and its documentaries, while architecture is something beyond my expertise. Are you living in Auckland or in Fuzhou? Indeed we can discuss about Fuzhou's urban planning in future. --GnuDoyng (talk) 05:39, 31 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thanks for your reply. I am from Fuzhou, and now studying in Auckland.

I will keep making more 3D models and hopefully, people will be able to see them in Google Earth.

Things that a few people and I have been doing in Fuzhou (I have not been involved for long time) are to try to protect as many western buildings as we can. Writing articles, visting some official organisations and social groups. But I believe that's too little too late. Demolishments have been going on for many many years in many places in Cangshan and Taijiang. I do not see any positive future in Fuzhou regarding to urban, cultural and heritage planning.

Anyway, I am keen to discuss more about these issues. I know a book called "The Story of The Fuh-kien Mission of the Church Missionary", I am sure if you know this book already.

Yep I've got that book. There're quite a good number of books concerning Fuzhou's missionary history, most of which are available at Google Books. --GnuDoyng (talk) 01:39, 1 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi Jimmy, are you in Fuzhou these days? --GnuDoyng (talk) 03:16, 18 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
