Please don’t bite me, I’m a newbie!

I’m a university student in a Wikipedia Education class, and I’m currently learning how to contribute to Wikipedia.
I am approaching my subject in good faith.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Legal thriller, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Equality. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:03, 15 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thanks for your substantial contributions to Legal thriller! In my looking at that page at some Disambiguation links that needed fixing, I noticed a few things and I felt I should bring your attention to two short sections of the Wikipedia:Manual of Style that might be beneficial to you and your editing contributions: MOS:OVERLINK and MOS:REPEATLINK. While we could link to every Wikipedia page, we don't for the reasons stated there. I hope you find them helpful. Zinnober9 (talk) 08:03, 23 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
