Archives Archive 1 Reverting loads of vandalism? There's a lovely little vandal war going on as I type (pretty exciting huh) at Vimto, and I don't have mad enough wiki skills to stop it. How do you revert loads of changes at once? And what about all that user blocking business? Is that an administrator gig? This is actually my first barnstar, so thanks!--Joe Jklin (T C) 06:19, 12 December 2006 (UTC) help hi, im Manu....there is a user SanjKaimal who is a big vandal and he recently vandalised articles samanthan and thampi...i corrected them but if u see the history of those articles and the edits made by him, its revolting...im indian and a member of the community Thampi...he for instance wrote that 'thampi women were kootachis'..tht wont make mush sense to a non indian, non Keralaite user, but it means prostitute...similarly he edited the name of a great king Marthanda Varma and made it Markata Varma, meaning the monkey king...also the Ettuveetil Pillamar were made Ettuveetil Pannikal and Pattiamar meaning pigs and dogs etc...i dont need to go into further details.. i m not sure how to ban this guy who seems bent upon vandalising many articles related to Nair...hence i thot i shud complain to some user whod probably know all tht....hope u can do sumthin...thanks.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Manu rocks (talk • contribs) Archived Thank you for helping me archive my talk page. The position of the Catholic Church towards Freemasonry is a matter of some debate... and has shifted rapidly back and forth in the last few years. It is important to clarify that of the different positions discussed in the article, the one in this section is indeed the "current" position. I can agree on weasle (although there are a lot of "claims" and "aledges" which are weasley, they are backed up by citations)... but would you mind discussing what parts you think are NPOV? It seems fairly ballanced between the POVs of both sides of the issue to me. Blueboar 23:30, 17 January 2007 (UTC) Hey regarding the Black Mamba article Hello, it seems like you are monopolizing the article and reverting any edits you don't like, without discussion. You mention that not all bites from mambas are fatal, even without antivenom, but you fail to mention how rare this occurance is and how victims still get round the clock medical attention. Mechanical ventilation and drugs are a big reason why anyone would be able to survive ANY snake bite without antivenom. According to all leading herpetologists and peer-reviewed studies, a black mamba bite is CERTAIN to be fatal if no kind of medical attention is given. Furthermore, black mamba's often bite several times in quick succession, injecting massive amounts of venom each time. Also, unlike most other snakes, black mamba's usually bite the abdomen/chest or head, not hands/fingers or feet. Here: "Exceptions to this situation are the bites from the Black Mamba. Due to the size and behaviour of these dangerous elapids, a relatively large proportion of bites occur on the head and body." (Soruce: http://www.snakebite-firstaid.com/facts.html) Also, black mambas are actively aggressive snakes (I know you made mention of it). Here is a quote: "Many snake experts have cited the African black mamba (Dendroaspis polyepis) and the Australian taipan (Oxyuranus scutellatus) as the world’s most dangerous snakes (Hunter, 1998). In addition, some snakes are reputed to be actively aggressive and may attack with little or no provocation. The Black forest cobra and African black mamba have this characteristic of being particularly aggressive (B.
