Hello!
This is my fist ever wikipedia page. I have tried to add detailed citations and am seeking assistance with adding an image to the info box from the subject's personal GitHub page. Note that I have also submitted this page for review from my sandbox, but also published the page directly because I wasn't sure which method was correct. Please let me know if I need to review anything further, or if I have published this in error. I will respond as soon as possible!
@Jmpasner: Given that you've already done it, the article now takes precedence and I've turned the draft into a redirect to the article. As a general rule, you should not create both a draft and an article and your copy-paste creation of the article disconnected it from the edit history in the draft. For more explanation of the problems with doing it the way you did, perhaps see WP:COPYWITHIN.
As for the photo, there was no point trying to add a photo to the draft. A photo does not help a draft get accepted and often brings in problems of its own. The photo on gitub provides no indication of its copyright status and we cannot assume that github's general laxness about licensing means the photo can be used on Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons. — jmcgnh(talk)(contribs)23:50, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
