in re HB title change, from Billy Tall
editThanks for the read. Glad somebody did. I have a couple of copies of the HB issue.
In re the title of the article: it's confusing how they did it. The article actually begins on the page before that (p. 133), where the introductory "How to Learn from a house you may not [unscored] Like" appears. This was apparently an HB editorial convention of the time. (The following article, for instance, introduced as "The Stantons build a new kind of kitchen", has a second title on the following page "When your guests follow you to the kitchen".) Being familiar with the house from its inception I know that the first or introductory title is appropriate to the times -- most people, certainly in Austin, did not "like" this sort of architecture. So I have modified the Wikipedia article to use both "titles" in the citations and sources sections. Hope this is satisfactory. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Billy Tall (talk • contribs) 12:58, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
