WP:3RR

edit

Wikipedia, I should let you know, has something called the "3 revert rule" -- do more than three reverts on an article within 24 hours and you can be blocked. You have been warned. --Calton | Talk 00:15, 4 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

(Note: this was originally placed, accidentally, on the User page, not the User Talk page. --Calton | Talk 02:00, 4 November 2005 (UTC))Reply

CZ Edit War

edit

Can we stop with the edit war? I understand that you think what you're putting in the Casa Zimbabwe page is important, but a lot of it's really not appropriate for Wikipedia, or at least not written in a way that's appropriate for Wikipedia. Some information just doesn't have a place here, such as stories about crack baby cats. As a general rule, stories about people who aren't of independent interest (and especially whose names you don't know) shouldn't go in Wikipedia.

Also, if you write like a vandal, you'll be treated as one (and yes, using the phrase "crazy tweaker" is writing like a vandal) no matter what the quality of your content.

Also, don't sign your contributions or cite them to unnamed people. It just shows your ignorance of WP community standards. If you have a source, like a website or a book, cite that. Jtwdog 19:49, 6 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

CZ

It is funny to find such a phrase as this one : so it won't fall down, maybe... in an article. Thus, expressing pov orientation. Taking this point farther, the end statement of this section shouldn't even be considered encyclopedic as it is not factual but based on someone's opinion (and I'm not saying it is yours). My tactics as you call them aren't hit-and-run tags, but see it as you will on the article you have on your watchlist. I am one of the few that take the time to read some articles and try to remove factual flaws from articles that aren't on people's watchlist. I'M SORRY IF I STOLE TIME FROM YOU BY DOING SO. Template tags on user pages

edit

Hi, if you put a message about a template on an user page, please use a {{tl|name of template}} (it will look like {{pov}}, for example) instead of just putting the template by itself on the page . This way it won't copy the template itself and categorize talk pages into wrong categories. Thanks. - Bobet 17:51, 5 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
