I've reversed your move of Technology and society
editHi. Your move of Technology and society to a user page (not to mention your creating a user page for a nonexistent user) was entirely improper. If you explain what you were trying to do, perhaps I can point you in the right direction. Alternatively, it looks like you're participating in a class exercise involving editing on Wikipedia. You might want to discuss what you were trying to do with your instructor.
In fact, I also see you've been contacted by Shalor, who I know has been involved in WikiEducation in the past. They might be a helpful resource. Oops: I looked at Shalor's user page and discovered that as of 30 June they're no longer involved in WikiEd and has directed people to User:Ian (Wiki Ed). Largoplazo (talk) 00:34, 8 August 2020 (UTC)

- You can't just move published articles out of article space into your sandbox. Normally, users edit articles right where they are. If you're new to editing and want to experiment with some changes first, until you're comfortable with them:
- You can copy the wikitext from the article into a page in your user space (for example, User:Joebleze/Technology and society, not User:Technology and society, which would be the main user page of a user named "Technology and society").
- You can make the edits there until you're satisfied.
- Then you can copy the wikitext from the edited portions of the sandbox copy over the previous text in the live article (except that you have to make sure, when you do that, that you don't overwrite any changes made by other editors in the interim).
