Welcome!

edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions, such as your edit to the page Jonah Hill, have removed content without a good reason to do so. Content on Wikipedia should not be removed just because you disagree with it or because you think it's wrong, unless the claim is not verifiable. Instead, you should consider expanding the article with noteworthy and verifiable information of your own, citing reliable sources when you do so. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!   Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Jonah Hill, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. I gave extremely clear reasoning, you are the one vandalising in my opinion Johannesvdp (talk) 13:00, 12 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Jonah Hill. Kleuske (talk) 13:00, 12 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

sure block me then, I will appeal, because this is sick. How can you allow for slander? There is ZERO objectivity Johannesvdp (talk) 13:01, 12 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
And, of course, you are completely objective. This is Wikipedia, we summarize what reliable sources say on any given subject. You are free to add Hill's response to the allegations. Kleuske (talk) 13:02, 12 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
You can read the responses in the articles listed! The whole section reads as a personal subjective attack on Hill, there is zero context or objectivty. I don't know the subject, I could care less, but even in the articles that are references it says that both men deny it completely. Johannesvdp (talk) 13:04, 12 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring

edit

Hi Johannesvdp! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Doping in China several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Doping in China, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:32, 4 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
